First Lady hosted the 2015 annual Kids’ State Dinner today, a nation wide recipe challenge for kids that promote cooking and healthy eating.  First Lady Michelle Obama said, “We are so excited the Kids’ ‘State Dinner’ is finally here!”

The 55 aspiring young chefs, parents and guardians  joined the First Lady for a healthy lunch, which featured a selection of the winning recipes, and a special performance by the cast of Disney’s Tony Award-winning hit musical, Aladdin. President Obama and First Lady Michelle interviewed the kid chefs to learn about their inspiration behind their dishes.  The President’s favorite dish was the guacamole.
